An absolutely amazing event!!! Held in Coral Bay by the Coral Bay Yacht Club the Coral Bay Thanksgiving Regatta welcomes all classes of boats. Peter Muilenberg, who built his boat, Breath, on the beach of Coral Bay started both the Coral Bay Yacht Club as well as the regatta, and this will be the 34th year! The first day features single handed or gaffers, whereas the second day is a pursuit style race. The Regatta is a fun weekend to be on island and in Coral Bay with beautiful boats to regale sightseers and award ceremonies at Skinny Legs in the evening! All proceeds from this great event go to benefit KATS, Kids and the Sea; a program out of Coral Bay for youngsters to learn their way around boats and sailing.
